Mary,
You can read books from OverDrive that are available from your library, so long as they are the EPUB versions of the books, using Digital Editions 1.8. The book that you purchased last year (whether from Google books or Barnes and Noble or wherever you bought it, can still be read in Digital Editions 1.8 today.

To your question about coding the form, the answer is because someone made a bad decision. I'm working on that one...

Hello,

Thanks for making us aware of this drawing. I hope we can get more information about it anyway. I once purchased an ebook from Adobe Digital Editions and found it to be inaccessible over a year ago. It would be nifty to be able to read some of the books from my library that aren't vailable as Digital Overdrive Audio Books.

I was also wondering: the link you pointed us to where we fill out the form, all of that information is contained in a list of 10 items, with the first five items in the list being paragraphs. Why is the page coded this way?
