Subject: RE: table summary
It is a useful for tables to provide some text within the TABLE element that summarizes the contents of the table. Though it is most useful with data tables it is also good to use with layout tables.
" The accesibillity of the web is still kind of new to me, but I am constantly learning! What I am confused about now is the summary attribute. When I run my site through Bobby-WW, it tells me that I must add a summary for tables. The only tables on the page in question are used for layout. I'm working on using CSS for layout but until I can do that I need to use some tables. I don't understand why Bobby wouldn't note that as a "user check" because it seems to say I must add a summary for a layout table. Is this the case or should I just ignore Bobby's error
