Elle-

I was very be-fuddled by this. The instructions didn't make it clear, so I thought maybe I would be able to figure out what to do when the time came up, but it didn't really work out that way. I finally pieced it all together. (I think.)

What they wanted was a specific time when people interested in a particular topic could comment and vote, to reap the benefits of synchronicity. However, the IdeaScale tool doesn't have features that support that. While I was waiting for a chat window to pop open (or something) Jared, Sharron, and Jim were apparently waiting for folks to comment or vote on existing topics or to open new ones. I had already been doing that all along, so I didn't have a whole lot more to contribute during the session.

Thanks for the reminder! I tried to join earlier last week, but the "Join the Community" link wasn't displaying and I couldn't find any information on how to join. It's displaying now after trying to "Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down" an idea.

Just as a heads up for all on this list, system feedback messages for this site (errors, the join link, confirmation) appear in a rapidly blinking colored text box with minimal contrast.
