Nancy's and Greg's suggestions should be very useful for Sam's original question.

For what you're looking for, the Colour Contrast Analyser tool on the Juicy Studio Accessibility Toolbar for Firefox (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/juicy-studio-accessibility-too/) may do the trick. The results are presented in a table that includes elements and classes and parent nodes, as well as the color values and pass/fail information.
