Of course, but is it really a surprise that a course offered for free by
Google focuses on the browser and (limited) AT by Google for testing?
Why are Freedom Scientific not providing guides on how to use NVDA or
Dolphin on their site?

My point is: instead of immediately slamming this effort as being "not
enough", "vendor-specific", "inaccurate", I'm actually seeing it as a
positive that an organisation with the developer mindshare that Google
has is even mentioning the topic (and I do believe that their materials
will cover accessibility and ARIA in general, then showing the results
in Chrome and ChromeVox, rather than being "how to make things work just
for ChromeVox"). And if even a few devs make the effort to work through
the material and make their sites more accessible (albeit only testing
in Chrome/ChromeVox), that's still preferable to those devs NOT doing
anything at all.

Sure, the course should be vendor-neutral, cover all disabilities,
etc...but then we may be looking at the wrong source for it.

Anyway, this counter-rant not aimed at anybody in particular...
