transcript for a comic strip

hello:
we want to put up a comic on our site and have found a way to add
accessible text to it. we were wondering if we should still add a link to
the transcript of what the text says to the page as well. we have been able
to make it so that if the comic panels are enlarged they still can be read.
so the screen reader user gets text as they move through the panels. my
feeling is we don't need the transcript but i would like a vote from here
