Hi everyone,
Here's a project on my campus, which I found out about via the
university news service.:
UCLA-led consortium to focus on developing a new architecture for the Internet
<http://newsroom.ucla.edu/releases/ucla-led-consortium-to-focus-on-developing-a-new-architecture-for-the-internet>
This stuff is way beyond my realm of knowledge (I can barely spell
TCPIP!). HOWEVER, I mention it here in case some of you who know
about this type of thing want to get involved. If I can make some
introductions to the participants here at UCLA, I'd be happy to do so.
Also, the article mentions that NDN will make it easier to create
complex applications (I presume by faster/more secure data
transfer?). So it sounds like there might be some accessibility impacts there.
Watch this space!...
Thanks much,
Patrick
