I've just created a very basic test case based on the code below. VO on iOS ignores the list as expected. I can't find the charger for my Android thing, so can't confirm with TB I'm afraid.

<ul style="display:none;" aria-hidden="true">
<li>Apples</li>
<li>Pears</li>
</ul>
