Like pages are consistent with one another, and like navigation components maintain the same relative order. I'd consider it conformant.

Subject: [WebAIM] Consistent Navigation - set of web pages with different navigation

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could clarify a guideline for me. I am looking at Guideline 3.2.3 - Consistent Navigation.

Our site, www.tvokids.com, has a navigation bar at the top of the main landing page (TVOKids Logo, Videos, Games, Apps, Search and Grownups). This occurs for all the landing pages for videos, games and apps. Eg: http://www.tvokids.com/preschool and http://www.tvokids.com/preschool/bing

When a user wants to view content (video or games), they are taken to a page that does not have the same navigation bar, there is only a back link and the TVOKids logo that goes back to the main page. This is consistent on all content pages. Eg: http://www.tvokids.com/preschool/bing/videos/train and http://www.tvokids.com/preschool/bing/videos/lost

Does the content pages, not having the consistent navigation of the landing pages, fail the guideline?

Thanks for your help,
