Hi everyone,
WCAG states that if a new window is opened advanced warning should be given to users (https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20-TECHS/G201.html).
This can be done by including the warning-text in the link:
<a href="knitting.html" target="_blank">All about Knitting (opens in new window)</a>
However, what if the link is not text, but an icon (for example a facebook-icon). How can I warn the user that a new window will be opened?
Thanks!
