Apologies for cross-posting--JBV
Information Technology Services at the University of Michigan is seeking to add experienced digital accessibility analysts to our technical teams. These positions offer the opportunity for leadership, technical assessment and remediation, advocacy, training, and engagement with campus in working towards delivering excellence in accessibility compliance.
These positions would work closely with groups within ITS to ensure enterprise systems, web applications, vendor software, and web content meet accessibility requirements from purchase or design through the lifecycle of campus use. These individuals would work closely with other campus offices including the Office of Institutional Equity towards ensuring digital accessibility compliance for the University of Michigan.
The Chronicle of Higher Education consistently places U-M in its "Great Colleges to Work For" survey. In particular, the university earns high marks for strong relations between faculty and administrators, a collaborative system of governance, strong pay and benefits, and a healthy work-life balance.
The end date for applications is about to be extended to February 19.Â
