I'm looking for a couple of people to participate in a panel on
accessibility and digital inclusion for the upcoming Net Inclusion
conference: https://netinclusion2018.sched.com/
The panel is on Wednesday, April 18 from 10:30-11:30 in Cleveland. The
conference organizers don't have travel funds to offer.
The audience for the conference is a mix of government, business and
community organizations. All are working on digital inclusion broadly
speaking, but likely have little background in accessibility. It's a great
opportunity to expand understanding about what digital inclusion means.
The panel description is currently broad to allow for panelist input:
Providing assistance to people with disabilities requires knowledge of
accessibility hardware and software in addition to training strategies.
What resources are available to support increasing digital access for
people with disabilities?
If you're interested, let me know and we can chat about ideas
Thanks!
