Thanks, Jonathan. I couldn't remember the exact term that NVDA used.
"Screen layout" mode. I can toggle that with NVDA+v and can hear the
difference when arrowing up/down and hear each list item separately.

But I agree with others that nothing needs to be done to "fix" the page.
