Microsoft Power BI can automatically generate a text alternative for graphs and charts. It can connect to all sorts of data sources, including spreadsheets. You can add charts just like you do in Excel, then right-click any chart, select Summarize, and it will use AI to generate a text description of the most important aspects of the data.

It’s very early days, so it’s not very good, but it’s a start and shows what might be possible in future. We don’t know all the factors it can report, but we have seen it report minima, maxima, trends, correlations and percentage changes. It reports different factors for different charts, depending on the data.

Subject: [WebAIM] AI accessibility testing tools.

All,

I am doing a research on AI for accessibility and Disability. I am seeking for any tools which perform AI accessibility testing? Not the overlay products which we all know about. Has anyone done research into Chat.gpt or similar products based upon the Internet and identify the quality of their results when people ask these AI engine how to create accessible digital content?

Any tools which people can put on their web site like Object (image) Recognition technology would be of interest. Any research into dynamic UI based upon AI. I did read an article over 3 years ago which people were doing research in this space. If this technology has improved, then it could be an option to provide a UI suiting a person's needs.

Any technology that is truly based upon AI which supports the PWD. Like wheel chairs based upon self-driving car technology. See AI from Microsoft, etc is of interest.
