While this is not specific, as a blind, screen reader user, I will tell you that date pickers on airline sites, hotel sites, and concert ticket places, are a huge problem. Not all are inaccessible, but most are. This is true for both web sites, and smart phone apps.
I recently bought an expensive airline ticket, and thought I got it right, but am having to go a day earlier than I intended, to change would be $1200. So, I am just going to suck it up, and go to Paris a day earlier!
