Hello Rebecca.
As well I hope this message finds you doing well.
Personally, if I have the option to open a PDF I will try to open it in Adobe.
I have found that with Google Chrome and/or Microsoft edge for example it is very difficult to navigate PDFs, especially with a screen reader, as I am a screen reader user
If you are unable to do that
I’m not exactly sure how to tell you to proceed
Good luck

When the screen reader gets to a document on the site, it will announce page 1 of X and will continue to advance to the next page, depending on how large the document is. The documents open in a preview on the site. The controls to open the document in Google Drive aren't in the tab order. I don't have experience editing a Google site, so don't know if there is a way to bring this control into the tab order and give it an accessible name. I suggested just linking the documents onto the site. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
