All,
I want to understand if the WCAG has any criteria that covers High contrast
mode. 1.4.3 does not really cover it from my reading. How does Dark mode fit
within the criteria? Is there a difference between dark mode and high
contrast mode? High Contrast comes from the OS and all browsers far as I am
aware supports this? What type of direction should be given to product teams
on this point? What technical challenges surround High contrast mode?
Yes, I relies it is a user choice to use High Contrast. From a users point
of view, this might be the only way they can read text by changing the high
contrast mode on the OS. Thus if web pages don't support it, they cannot
read the content.
Thoughts?
