Hi Guy's,
I have just been informed that the developers of
http://www.lionsclubs.org have received an Web Marketing Association
"Standard of Excellence" award. I am not bagging the organisation, I am a
member who is in the process of developing a web site for one of the Lions
Districts. Once completed I intend to lobby for Lions sites to be more
accessible.
The brief report I received indicates that the hierarchy of the Lions
organisation believe the award is something to boast about. In doing so
they are overlooking an important aspect. The selection criteria for the
award did not include accessibility. Lions International has a proud
tradition of support for the blind and visually impaired.
I am seeking anyone willing to give an evaluation/report from of the site
I can use in my campaign for more accessible Lions web sites. A blind
persons assessment of the site would be excellent.

If you are feeling generous you may also like to assess the Australian
Lions main site at http://www.lionsclubs.org.au
