Hi All,
We have created a sample tutorial for kids. We are using Flash and XML and
made Unit 1 accessible of the tutorial. Please have a look at it and give us
your valuable suggestions to make it more accessible. We are using Jaws 7.0
for testing. The link for the tutorial is
http://www.n-syst.com/examples/tutorials/main.html
In Unit1 when we click the NEXT button, it loads the next question. But the
page doesn't refresh (we are loading the images into the movie clips on the
same page). Ideally jaws should start reading from the top for the next
question. We are not getting the way to do this. We tried using
selection.setFocus() but it didn't work. As Andrew mentioned to try it while
in forms mode in JAWS or Browse off in Win-eyes .. But this problem still
remains.
In his previous mail, Andrew also mentioned about substantial change,
determined by screen readers, can any one provide any inputs on how to
tackle this issue about substantial change... Also what is the definition of
substantial change? On what basis do screen readers determine substantial
change?
Suggestions are most welcomed.
