Subject: Evaluations based on ATAG
No previous message | Next message →
Hi listers
Does anyone have experience using ATAG to evaluate CMS or other
software that creates/publishes material on the web?
Is there any evaluator, similar to WCAG evaluators, in the works, or
even possible that relies on ATAG?
I freely admit I do not know enough about ATAG yet, but I am reading
my way through the ATAG 2.0 draft, and I would be very curious to, for
instance, evaluate things like Facebook and Twitter using ATAG
specifications.
Be well

Hi Birkir,
I'm on the W3C working group (AUWG) that is developing ATAG 2.0.
As we have been developing the document, we have done some implementation testing, including with CMS systems:
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-au/2011AprJun/att-0044/implementation_report_12may2011.html
And while Facebook does not appear in that table, we do include it in our discussions.
Cheers,
Jan
