I've been tasked to provide an accessible forum for one of our customers.
I'd be interested to hear any suggestions this group might have.

Good morning,

It isn't perfect, but you can try the built-in forum module in Drupal 7. If that doesn't work then there is also an Advanced Forum module.

both are open to incorporating accessibility improvements if you find anything that needs to be corrected.

Hi Donald,

I'll recommend PHPBB and customize it to meet A11y requirements. If I
am not wrong, Accessify Forum is build on it and even at our company
we have designed an accessible theme using PHP BB forum for one of our
clients and it is accessible.

Hello Donald,

Here is link to the Accessify Forum where there is an link to review or download an accessible style created for phpbb. Please note that it was catered to Italian law 4/2004 and WCAG 2.0 (unsure what level, I assume level AA)
