In WCAG Success criterion 3.2.2 , G:13, it states that 'Describing what will happen
before a change to a form control is made'.
consider an example.
I have list of radiobutton (4 nos). say by clicking 3rd radio button, a textbox would appear. so i have to place a description above the 3rd radio button saying that : 'Clicking the below radio button, a textbox would appear where one have to input their SSN number.'
Have i got this right. Is this the way to implement this?
I have one more question.
i have a collapsible panel control in my page which by expanding and collapsing , it will hide and reveal the content.
so in this case should i have to place description above this control to tell the changes?

Mobins,

Greetings!

1) As I understand, if the appeared textbox is not changing the context;
for example, it is not changing the process, you don't need to mention. If
appeared text box is causing change in the process then you should mention
it clearly.
2) For collapsible panel - you can mention the description along with the
control. If this control is common in whole application , you can add
description in help section.

Let us know if anyone think otherwise.
