I would be grateful if you could take a look at this
article:

http://www.accessify.com/articles/how-accessible-is-safari.asp

If anyone has used Safari and can either add to the
document - or refute any of the claims contained - I'd
like to hear it.

Many thanks

I think it's too early to tell, since this is only a beta version and
the user
interface in specific will definitely change.

You also really should mention the screen reader which _is_ supported
on the Mac, as well as the built-in accessibility features in the OS
when
discussing Mac accessibility -- as well reference to the Aqua
accessibility
API.

For this beta of the software, there seem to be a number of features
which
aren't yet fully enabled -- such as keyboard access -- but which may be
in there. See http://gordon.sourcecod.com/sites/safari_enhancer.php
for the "Safari Enhancer" program which can be used to turn on parts
of the Safari code which aren't "on" in the beta.

I think that reference to UAAG should be included in any accessibility
analysis of a browser, of course. And, to be honest, I think that
anyone
writing up an accessibility critique of a browser should have personal
familiarity with how it works.
