I'm a trainer (and long-time lurker on this list) and am revising my
handouts for a class on making 508-accessible PDFs from MS Word and Adobe
InDesign.

I am looking for a list of standardized tags to label different parts of a
PDF document, but have come up with little more than the basics.and a lot of
different opinions, too. I'm a fairly advanced trainer in this area, but I'm
starting to get confused by all the different opinions and the crazy tags
that Adobe PDF sometimes applies when InDesign and MS Word are converted to
PDF.

So, I'm asking you for help. Can you take this quick survey and tell me what
YOU prefer?

My class participants are government publishers and we have control over
what tags are used throughout the entire process, from Word to InDesign to
PDF. The content is also destined for HTML and XML content management
systems, too.

Thanks so much. Survey follows.

Have you seen the new Adobe InDesign accessibility best practices document? (linked from http://www.adobe.com/accessibility/products/indesign/)

Also, there is the Word to PDF quick tips document (http://blogs.adobe.com/accessibility/assets/WordToPDFReferenceCard_v1.pdf)

Thanks,
