Hello,
Is there any information about the accessibility of Adobe Flash CS4
Professional, or other Flash authoring tools? Much is made about Flash
accessibility when it comes to the end Flash components. But what about the
authoring tools? What can a screen reader user do with current tools?
Thanks.

The Flash CS4 Professional authoring tool is not generally accessible to users without any sight, in part related to the timeline-based workflow and visual stage. However, developers interested in working with Flash can use Flex Builder (an Eclipse-based IDE) effectively to create SWF files or they can use a text-editor to write actionscript files that can be compiled into SWF with the CS4 Pro authoring tool's compiler.
