Hi -

If any of you are designing apps for the iPad/iPod, what are you using as
your accessibility guidelines? Are you following WCAG 2.0, for example? Any
thoughts on this?

Thank you!

I think you should consult the "Accessibility Programming Guide for iOS"
and the "iPad Human Interface Guidelines":
* "Accessibility Programming Guide for iOS":
<http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/UserExperience/Conceptual/iPhoneAccessibility/Introduction/Introduction.html>;
* "iPad Human Interface Guidelines":
<http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/General/Conceptual/iPadHIG/Introduction/Introduction.html>;
* iOS Accessibility:
<http://developer.apple.com/technologies/ios/accessibility.html>;

Best regards,

Christophe

Hi folk,
WCAG is totally ment for web content.
for software applications, different countries have different guide lines,
and Section 508 is the best one.
if you are belonging to US, then follow Section 508, or else, try to know is
there any specific Guide line applicable for software accessibility from
your country.
REgards,
Jeevan.
