Have any of you come across any design guidelines specific to creating QR
codes that include accessibility considerations?

I'm looking for general guidelines, but it also occurred to me that there
might be some ways of helping people with visual impairments to take
pictures of QR codes on posters, such as using Braille and/or embossed
guides around the code.

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

I was just doing research on that the other day...I am doing research on
this for libraries in particular for a paper I hope to publish next year.I
haven't read through these yet, so I am not sure what they include
specifically in terms of Braille, etc.

Here are a few of the cool academic articles I have found (well the first
one isn't academic). A couple can be accessed by the public, the other two I
have to download from the University VPN (but you can see the abstracts):

Hope that helps.

Cheers

Lisa
