I know WAI-ARIA doesn't validate with xhtml, but will WAI-ARIA work
with xhtml? I have an older dynamic site that I would like to add
some wai-aria only to a jquery popup...

There is no budget to update the header and doctype or rework the site.

Thanks,

Nancy

hi Nancy,
doctype makes no difference

ARIA will work the same with whatever flavour of (x)HTML you use.
