Subject: Are there any plans or timeline for consiering updates to WCAG 2.0?

Hey everyone

Prompted by recent speculation and discussion regarding WCAG, both as
a whole and individual areas, I am just curious whether there is a
fixed timeline or formal discussion concerning when the standard
should be updated.
I don't mean that the standard is bad and needs to be updated, just
that technology and consumer behavior is, of course, changing (the
rise of the mobile) and the standard may be dealing with very
different issues in 3 years from now.
What made me think about this are national, European regulations and
posible Section 508 updates that often are based on WCAG 2.0, but
won't be fully in efect till 2015 or 2016 (see EU Mandate 376 for
instance, it is scheduled to be completed some time next year, but
then it has to go through the European political circus, which can at
the very least take another 2years).
I certainly have ideas on some changes to the standard if it were up
for revission, but without it I am not sure how effective any
accessibility campaigning really would be, so I am sure glad we have
it, and thanks to the people who put it together.

Cheers
