Has anyone encountered the YouTube player keyboard trap?

Specifically, the HTML 5 player lets you tab through the controls (Yeah!), but then won't let you tab past them (Noooooo!). Successive tabbing just cycled through the player controls in an endless loop. I found this while using Firefox on a Mac.

See example at https://tailgate.tlt.psu.edu/media/

Any information or solution ideas appreciated.

Thanks

Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth,

Are you 100% sure you're running the HTML5 player? In Firefox, it defaulted
to that player, but I had to disable Flash in Chrome (even though I am in
the HTML5 player "program" in YouTube (http://youtube.com/html5)).

I don't see any keyboard trapping. The tab order is a bit strange from a
visual perspective: you hit the bottom controls first, move through those,
and then into the top of the player where "share" and "more info" are. But
once past those it moved on to subsequent videos. No trapping.

Double check to see if you are in the HTML5 player (right click and check).
