Subject: Applications Submenu Question, Perhaps Somewhat OT?

Hi everyone. I apologize in advance if this question is somewhat
off-topic for the list, but I didn't know where else to post it. Feel
free to write me off-list if necessary. I've been having a rather odd
problem with my Applications submenu for the past 3 or so weeks. As I
mentioned briefly on here, I do social media for a local nonprofit
organization. My work involves posting various disability-related
articles to our Twitter and Facebook pages, and also posting reviews
that come to us on our website. Rather than just using the FB and
Twitter links or buttons found on certain sites, we copy and paste the
links with our own short summaries. I was able to do this just fine,
but lately if I try and tab to the place where I was able to get
information about the URL and such, I just get caught in some sort of
dead-end loop. For example, if I go to
http://www.globalaccessibilitynews.com or some other site containing
articles, I hit Enter on the "Read More" link. I then go into my
Applications submenu and Enter on Properties. Then if I tab past the
"Certificates" button, I am told "there are no more links or form
fields." Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.
Jake

Jake,
I am assuming you are using JAWS/NVDA and IE. After the certificates button
it should go to an OK button, so you can close that window. If you are just
needing to grab the link, you can go to the link you want to copy,
right-click (or open the context menu), then choose the copy shortcut
option. This grabs the URL of that link.

Thanks Ryan, that works. These computers are just a mystery sometimes!
