Has anyone seen PDF applying <Normal> tags (after conversion from Word)?
JAWS then detects text within this tag as a heading. It seems like a style
gets passed on but not sure why jaws treats it as a heading. Can tags be
replaced in X pro, say I want to replace all <Normal> tags with <p> tags?

Yes, you need to set the role mappings in the tags panel > option > edit
role mappings.
