Subject: crowdfunding to make MODX content management system more accessible
No previous message | No next message

The creators of the MODX open source content management system are in the
process of making the admin interface more accessible to people with
disabilities, and they're seeking funding from the community to make that
happen.

MODX is already an excellent system for creating accessible web sites, but
the admin interface is not currently disability-friendly, and they are
working to fix that. I have contributed a detailed list of accessibility
feature requests, and I have contributed some money too, so they can
actually implement those features.

You can donate at http://a11y.modx.com/

They've already made significant progress, which is very encouraging. The
funding will help make sure they finish the job.
