Subject: Accessible web photo viewer with photo descriptions? What is Google Plus Photos like for this?

Sorry if this isn't quite the right mailing list, but I have an urgent
question which has just been dumped on me about something happening
this afternoon!
If you were to want to send a photo slideshow, over the web, to a
group of people in another country which included a completely blind
couple, what would you use?
The receiving group will be all together in the same room; the blind
people don't want the sighted people to have to read the descriptions,
and the sighted people are quite happy to listen to a screenreader for
the photos.
So it would be, say, 10 seconds on each slide, and the text for an
image would be something like:
"Group photo of family on top of Mount Etna, taken early morning with
blue sky and dense patches of cloud filling the valley. "
I was going to suggest that the "local" person sending the photos use
Picasa to describe the images, then upload them to Google Plus, but I
don't know how well that works with screenreaders.
Again, sorry, I know it all sounds a bit confusing and confused, but
that's how it was described to me and I'm hoping someone can suggest
something not too technical!
