I'm getting ready to give a lecture on accessibilty and I was thinking of
presenting a couple of really snazzy looking web sites (possibly with
parallax based themes) that are visually stunning but also fully accessible.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Denis Boudreau (Twitter @dboudreau) presented a nice example with parallax some time ago.

If you would like to show an iOS app. I recently attended a presentation,
as part of GAAD, for the Robinhood trading app where they talked about
implementing accessibility and user testing for accessibility in their last
release.

Thanks guys. Thad, I don't have an iOS compatible device and this is more
of an overview type presentation (think, bunch of freshmen college
students, "CS 101 - What is Web Accessibility and why do we need it" kind
of presentation).

Makes sense Mike. Might not make sense for your presentation. We are seeing
an increase in mobile usage particularly for "millennials" in the digital
space. I think it is a good idea for the accessibility community to address
this, when appropriate, so that accessibility doesn't lag behind in mobile.

Oh I agree completely but I'd hate to overwhelm them on a "first look" type
of deal.

Makes sense. Best of luck with your presentation. Maybe the a11yproject.com
would be a good one to show. The visual design is simple but very well done.
