Hello all,

Deque Systems is looking for people who can help us improve our products.
We are building a product to help quality assurance (QA) teams test
websites, applications, and digital content for issues that affect people
with disabilities.

We are currently recruiting QA analysts for 1-hour usability test sessions
- no accessibility experience required! If we meet with you, we will thank
you for your time with a $50 Amazon gift card. Please visit this link to
sign up: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SHL7SGZ

And if you know anyone who works in QA, please forward this on!

Thank you!

I'm a little confused by your conflating of QA testing and usability testing.
They are not the same, and you will confuse anyone in the broader UX or development community if you use them as synonyms.

Whitney, it sounds like she is looking for QA people for the study because they will be the users of the product. So it is a usability test -- but the target population is QA people.

Yes, that's correct - the product I'm testing is geared towards QA analysts
(and, to a lesser extent, people who test websites and applications
specifically for accessibility).

Hi katlan,

I'm a QA analyst who's sole responsibility is testing for accessibility. I'd love to be involved in your user group.

Let me know what I need to go to get involved.

Mike Golfo

Jonathan is correct here: Deque is looking for QA folks to do usability
testing of a tool geared towards QA folk.

Cheers!
