Hi all, I am testing a website which as some interactive contents,
where we have to select some options.
there is no link or check box anything of that kind, but if it is
clickable jaws says clickable and when we press enter or space bar the
the option gets selected. should we consider this as accessibility
issue? is providing link, check box or button will be more accessible
than this?

thanks and regards,

If I understand correctly, screen reader is not announcing its role i.e.
button, link etc., in such a case it can be failed under 4.1.2 Name, Role,
Value of WCAG 2.0.

Thanks
Could you please explain what could be the reason for screen reader
not announcing those buttons or links?

One possible reason could be that it may be a custom control and missing
role attribute. Can you share the URL / code snippet (even off this list)?
so that I can look into...
