Subject: PDF conversions?

Good morning all,

A potential client needs image PDFs converted into accessible HTML. Is
there a fairly neat and painless way of doing that? I'm ASSUMING original
documents were scanned and saved as PDF, now they need to be made
accessible.

Any thoughts?

Cheers,
Glenda

I am considering purchasing Omnipage Pro12 to convert PDF documents into HTML.
Has anyone tried this, and if so, how accessible were the results?

Thanks,

Good Morning All,
Does anyone have experience and advise on a tool to evaluate web content behind
a login screen/page (for 508 compliance)-- Bobby is not able to. On their
FAQ page:

Can Bobby Test Sites that Require a Password?

No. Due to differences in implementation among web servers for
password validation,
Bobby is unable to support username and password submission.
With Bobby client it is possible to test local copies of the pages
that are not served
by a web server or have been saved from a browser.

WAVE 3.0 (www.wave.webaim.org) can get past standard Web server passwords
(e.g. Apache), as long as you know the password, but it won't get by custom
programmed passwords (e.g. jsp, php, asp, etc.).
