Looking specifically for any technical courses I can recommend to web designers, software developers, etc.

In addition to the great training and learning material such as that on Section508's https://www.section508.gov/create and https://www.section508.gov/training, and other federal sites, what would you suggest people check out (disclaimers assumed, of course) for learning about accessible web and ICT design? Of course, we promote: https://www.accessibilityonline.org/training for all their courses, including the bimonthly modules with the US Access Board. Looking to increase our knowledge base for:

1. Technical training courses or modules for web design, applications, mobile apps, etc.? (for a fee or at no-cost)
2. Training courses on user design and accessibility?
* especially modules that might provide an awareness of integrating or including persons with disabilities in user
3. Training courses or modules on disability awareness?
* Are there any "disability awareness" modules you'd recommend too? Nothing too cheesy but modules that might teach the value of accessibility features (not just Section 508 as a compliance requirement) as a value added to conforming or complying with Section 508?

Hi, Gary, from another Marylander.

I have a course on accessible web design and development. My approach
and how I've set it up are different from some others. It is set up to
be more from a designer and developer workflow (which is my background).

The focus is on understanding accessibility and best practices for
accessibility and usability to help you meet the WCAG guidelines but
without getting into each one specifically. However, I do show many ways
to test the site and against the guidelines and other methods to make
sure you're covered.

It's platform agnostic, but I do cover a lot with WordPress-specific
elements too.
