Did you ever care about printability? Background images are almost always
omitted on printing.
(This makes things rather nasty when web sites use background images for
essential content because they offer a seemingly easy way to make sites
customizable.)

It's funny how people revert to requesting for statistics when they realize
that their techniques are't accessible. The next step is typically accepting
any irrelevant data as "statistics" if the figures are small enough. :-)
