I would like to re-ask my follow up question, if I may, as I kinda left my
contact hanging:
what would you recommend to make buttons (graphics with text) accessible to
individuals with visual impairments who don't use screen readers? Of
course, there is the ALT tag that appears, but that isn't zoomable, is it?
This field of web accessibility is fascinating in that there are countless
intricacies and finer points. There is no clear cut answer, which I guess
can also be frustrating at times too, particularly when clients are wanting
a straightforward answer. How can one ever know all there is about this
field? Or, can even the "experts" continue to ask questions?
Cheers,
Glenda
