Accessible voice biometrics

I'm currently working with a large financial institution client who wants to add voice biometrics as an additional layer of authentication for their iPhone mobile web apps. My client has asked me to research and identify what, if any, are areas of concern with respect to accessibility when it comes to using voice biometrics on smartphones.

Voice biometrics is a new area for me. I'd love to hear back from anyone with comments, suggestions, resources, etc. that might help me in my research.
