Karen,
What type of graphics are we talking about? Or how complex are they?
While at the UW, I used a Tiger + Corel Draw to make graphics from
basic shapes to chaos theory graphs. We developed the Tactile Graphics
Project <http://tactilegraphics.cs.washington.edu/>; to assist myself
and another to make graphics for our blind students. I would talk to
Dan rather than Richard about how to best make things work for your
school. Mention me and you should be good to go.
