Use of headings in Google docs

Is there a recommended practice for the use of headings in Google docs as
there is with blogs?

In blogs, the blog name itself is heading 1, the blog post title is heading
2 and all internal headings are 3, 4 etc.

A very basic question, but just want to ensure I am provide useful guidance
to colleagues.
