multiple skip to links

I fully understand how to properly implement a “skip to” link, but I was wondering if there is a general consensus regarding multiple “skip to” links? In other words, should there be more than the “skip to main content” link and also provide links such as “skip to navigation” or “skip to footer”?
Assuming proper page structure with headings is in place, links have descriptive titles etc. is it necessary to have multiple “skip to” links?
