And of course technology and accessibility of the products could not have changed at all in the intervening year since that thread. I often base my purchasing decisions on information that is a year out of date.

I've been getting the distinct impression lately that the WebAIM Discussion List should just be rebranded as the WebARIA Discussion List. That seems to be the only topic that is tolerated ad infinitum. Other topics get shot down or ridiculed. ("What idiot still uses PDFs!?! All the cool kids use HTML5 and ARIA!")

When I joined, it was with the impression that this was a general electronic accessibility list. And it so obviously isn't. I think it's time for me to admit I've accidentally joined the wrong club, clean out my locker, and go.

As I recently posted to this list, on August 14:

This topic of survey tools has been discussed many times on the WebAIM list. Here's a link to an extended thread from July of 2011:

This thread discusses the output from tools.

The topic of "preferred survey platform" was also opened in the last couple of weeks. This discussion began on August 13. Here's a link to that thread:

Not that we're voting, but if I were, I'd vote that this question of accessible survey tools gets asked most often on this list.

It never ceases to impress me how easy the WebAIM archives are to search and read. Thanks for that, Jared, and any other responsible members of the WebAIM team.
