And of course technology and accessibility of the products could not have changed at all in the intervening year since that thread. I often base my purchasing decisions on information that is a year out of date.

I've been getting the distinct impression lately that the WebAIM Discussion List should just be rebranded as the WebARIA Discussion List. That seems to be the only topic that is tolerated ad infinitum. Other topics get shot down or ridiculed. ("What idiot still uses PDFs!?! All the cool kids use HTML5 and ARIA!")

When I joined, it was with the impression that this was a general electronic accessibility list. And it so obviously isn't. I think it's time for me to admit I've accidentally joined the wrong club, clean out my locker, and go.
