Hi there
I'm just wondering about people's views on headings in pages. Most
content pages (as in not the home page) on the Web tend to have
basically two headings - a logo and a page title. These are often in
different location
The question is this: in a situation like this, what element should be
the <h1>?
It seems to me there are basically three options to this...
1) The logo is a <h1>, title is a <h2>
2) Logo isn't a heading at all, title is <h1>
3) Both heading AND title are <h1> (two <h1>s in the same document?)
...so which do you believe is best, and why?
I don't believe there is a "correct" answer to this as such, and I
really don't think this is a major issue that needs to be discussed
endlessly, but I would be interested in people's opinions.
Cheers
