But if this were indeed the case, wouldn't there be a potential issue if JAWS had the means to negate behind the scene logic intended to perform a specific business request?

I don't know how it works under the hood, but Jaws can ignore calls
that would otherwise cause the page to refresh. I believe the browser
JS keeps on ticking as normal, but Jaws freezes its buffer in place,
until the user takes some further action.
