We launched a new design for our official state blogs today. See the Mass.Gov blog http://blog.mass.gov/ for instance.
Part of the new design was to include links back to the official website at the top of each page, to tie it in better with the main site. Our concern is that this may be confusing because screen readers will read it first, before the title of the blog, and they're not relevant to the blog itself.
Should we hide them (aria-hidden="true") and then repeat them as a visually hidden side module? Or add visually hidden text that is the blog title to the skip link ("Skip to main content [of the Mass.Gov Blog]")? Any other suggestions?
Or are we worrying too much?
