(Nostalgia alert!)
The first browser I used (Mosaic perhaps? So long ago...) displayed the TITLE below the address bar. That was a great feature, and I missed it for years after moving along to Netscape. It made it a lot easier to explain the importance of a unique, identifying TITLE to aspiring state agency webmasters. After that, I had to wait for their pages to be crawled by search engines to show them why they shouldn't use their site name as the TITLE on every page.
